ARTIST SUBMISSIONS: First of all THANK YOU! We would not have a jazz festival if musicians like you didn’t step up and take the time to learn the art form of jazz.
The jazz festival is booked by two artistic committees; one for our national headliners and one for Minnesota artists. Both committees consist of board members, community leaders and musicians.
Minnesota Artists: Please email email@example.com. Include a short bio, a video or sound clip and who’s in your band. The committee will meet early April to chose artists to perform at the festival. If chosen we will reach out to you.
National Artists (Artists not from Minnesota or the Twin Cities surrounding area). Please note that 90% of our performers are Minnesota artists. Submissions must be received by March 31st, 2018. If selected, you will be contacted around mid April. With the overwhelming amount of interest, we will not be able to contact you if not selected.

- Routing information — THIS IS A MUST. We do not have an airline sponsor.

WHAT’S ALLOWED? Lawn chairs, blankets.
WHAT’S NOT ALLOWED? Weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, outside alcohol.
WHAT ABOUT COOLERS? Discouraged. Our free festival’s success and continuation relies upon your support of food/beverage revenues. Help keep the festival free by purchasing your food & beverages at the festival!
WHAT ABOUT RAIN: If severe weather approaches, please take shelter. Do NOT wait out a storm under a tent. Once the storm passes, the show will go on so don’t go far. There’s lots of music in many venues (check the schedule page). Please check our Facebook page for any venue changes.
HOW LONG ARE THE SETS: Most sets are one hour, but headliners will perform from 75 to 90 minutes.
WHY DO THE OUTDOOR STAGES END AT 10:00 PM: City curfew.
