Youth Engagement Partnership
With the support of a family foundation and donations from the community, the Twin Cities Jazz Fest is partnering with MacPhail Center for Music and Walker West Music Academy to offer four youth engagement activities; scholarships, master classes, clinics with national artists and youth performances.
“Alan really enjoyed the violin lessons with Stella this summer. He really loves learning violin, but he was sad that he could not learn and play the violin this summer due to no financial support. However, the JazzFest scholarship allowed Alan to learn it this summer! He was very happy and enjoyed the lessons. Thanks to JazzFest!”
“Brenda loved continuing to have a chance to work on her jazz with Greg during the summer! We are both grateful for this scholarship opportunity. It was a bright spot during a difficult summer. Thank you, donors.”
