Youth Engagement Partnership / Master Classes
With continued support of a family foundation and donations from the community, the Twin Cities Jazz Fest is partnering with MacPhail Center for Music and Walker West Music Academy to offer four youth engagement activities; scholarships, master classes, clinics with national artists and youth performances.
Twin Cities Jazz Fest Scholarships
Scholarships are available for youth music lessons.
All lessons are arranged by our partners MacPhail School for Music and Walker West Music Academy.
These scholarships are available to new and continuing students, ages 18 and younger, whose families have suffered economic challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic or any other factors. All who need assistance are welcome to apply.
Scholarships are for four or eight 30 minute Jazz lessons at no cost and is open to all genres of music.
Students should have 1 year of experience on their instrument/voice.
There is a limited number of scholarships available, you are encourage to apply as soon as possible.
